CST 300 - Module 8

Part 1 - Review Other Teams’ Final Video Projects Otter Devs Tutoring Center: AR?VR in Education and Healthcare Long Video: AR /VR in Education and Healthcare (Professional Use) (youtube.com) Short Video: AR /VR in Education and Healthcare (Public Use) (youtube.com) Both videos are well covered, and the information is obviously more in depth in the long video. The presentation is very clear in the long video, including a PowerPoint which makes it easy to take notes and to briefly recognize the main points in each section of the video. As I said earlier, the research is abundant and allows the viewer to easily understand the uses of AR/VR in education/healthcare, as well as how it is possible. Both videos show a sense of time and diligence with the amount of work that was put into its production. Though I would argue that more effort in video production went into the shorter video. Both videos are engaging because of the quality and effort put into them. Though, the shorter video I be

CST 300 - Module 7

Part 1 - Final Video Project Planning This week’s module had a mixture of short assignments, as well as large assignments. For example, we were to review two of our team members' cover letters and resumes and complete this week’s learning journal. However, there are two large assignments, one to write the final draft of our ethics argument paper, and to continue our final video project with our team members. So far, with the final video project, we are taking great measures to make the best video possible with each member being included. We made a decision in this week’s team meeting on how we would organize our presentation, and how to review it in our upcoming meeting that will be taking place sooner. As with all our team projects, we are sharing our work with each other on discord and sharing it on google drive as well. The process seems smooth at the moment, but one thing I would do differently next time is to start talking about the project sooner, especially for the members

CST 300 - Module 6

Part 1 - Brainstorming our Capstone Project Ideas This week, during our team meeting we focused on our previous module's journal about our capstone project ideas. It was great to hear what some of the other members' ideas were, and to be honest, they were more developed than mine, so it gave me a great opportunity to learn. After talking about some of the ideas, one stood out to the group. Our team member, Ryan suggested an inventory type of mobile application which would be able to analyze one's wardrobe, or other types of inventories. Part 2 - Overall Lecture This week's module was another interesting one. This one was more focused on what is to come in our future with an assignment to start our individual learning plan portfolio, to create a cover letter and resume for an internship, and to finish our ethical essay draft plus review two other team members. Both team members' essays were well thought out and gave me insight as to how to improve my own, before I e

Part 1 - Support and Comments on Teammates' Goals I made comments on two of my teammates' journals. However, I think it may be interesting to tackle something similar to software engineering, or even create a startup on a project. I want to try and do something that is similar to what I want to do in the future, which is to be a part of game development, but also respect my teammates interest in their future, so it may not even happen. So with that in mind, I would like to try and make a small indie game, game engine, or something similar, if there is enough time of cours
